Our Head Chef

Scott Barnard was born in South East London and grew up in Bedfordshire in his teens. Scott began his career as a chef by pursuing the classical route at barnfield college, Luton.

He is most notable for his highly acclaimed appearance on MasterChef: The Professionals in 2015 and MasterChef: The Professionals The Rematch 2018 where he came second both times.

Scott then progressed his work in some prestigious kitchens. After spending nine years at the award winning Colettes at The Grove in Watford, he took a huge leap and joined Crockers. Scott and his team now continue to wow guests with a great dining experience at Crockers Tring.

Our Restaurant Manager


Julie Tripp was born & raised in Hammond, Indiana, USA. She studied Hospitality and Tourism at Purdue University where she earned her Bachelors degree and began her career managing hotels.

In 2008 Julie moved to England and continued to pursue work within hospitality whilst patiently following her RAF husband around Europe and the Mediterranean.

Her passion for the service industry and love for working with people has guided her career for over 20 years, and after joining Crockers in July 2022, Julie hopes to continue to bring joy to guests by creating a fun and memorable dining experience.
